I was informed that I have endometriosis all over my uterus and I believe it was adenomyosis. Where my uterus is enlarge due to my menstral flow is not fully leaving my uterus. I was also told that I have a cyst on my ovary. The doctor told me that he could not get rid of the endometriosis at the time of laposcopic surgery because of my uterus being so enlarge. The only way to stop the pain and everything else is to remove my uterus. I’m in a lot of pain lately and I don’t know if I should get the surgery done or what I can do. He never told me anything else after I left his office. No pain meds or anything. Just that if I can deal with the pain than not to have my uterus removed. Please tell me what can I do. The pain is starting to interfer with my job and family life. I would really appreciate some in put on this from you.
Thank You.
Michelle

Dear Michelle-
You have been given traditional gynecological advice…we do not advocate that approach. There are too many complications following hysterectomy.
Our FAS program can laser remove the adenomyosis from your uterus and still allow it to function hormonally, and sexually. There is no need to remove the organ in total. Your periods will be lighter and pain reduced so that it can be managed with Advil.
You can get your life back….give my office a call.
