Hi Patti. Just wanted to share a little story with you. My former gyn retired this past January, so I have been searching for a new one for the past couple of months. I found one and paid her a visit for the first time 3 weeks ago. This was the first gyn I’ve seen since Dr. del Junco’s surgery in 2005. My new doctor found no fibroids, but wanted me to have a pelvic and transvaginal sonogram just to be on the safe side. This morning, I had that sonogram. It was done by a radiologist who had seen me previously years ago and she had my chart with her, so she was familiar with my reproductive history. She examined me but couldn’t find anything wrong. She left the room to bring the doctor back with her. She returned alone and asked me if I’d had anything done since I was last there. I told her yes. She then asked me what was done. I told her all 13 of my fibroids were removed, my endometriosis had been removed and a small cyst on my left ovary had been removed. She went back to inform the doctor. She again returned to the examining room alone, saying the doctor didn’t believe her because I came in 2 years ago with numerous fibroids. This doctor insisted that the radiologist examine me again. The radiologist did just that and after about a minute of prodding, she told me that she still couldn’t find anything and told me to just get dressed and go home…lol. She said there was absolutely nothing there and my uterus appeared healthy! I told her that she wouldn’t find anything because the doctor who performed my surgeries did a thorough job. Huge thanks to all of you and continued blessings to Dr. del Junco. He really does perform miracles.
All the best,
YR
