I am currently 10-11 weeks pregnant. During my first intial visit with my OBGYN he performed an ultrasound. This is normally out of the ordinary but I informed him of very uncomfortable cramping particulary on the left side of my uterus. When conducting the ultrasound, he found an ovarian cysts approx. 5×7 cm. Fortunately, at that time there was no visible indication of cancer. Although, he expressed a high degree of concern with the current size of the cyst. He scheduled to recheck the cyst in 4 weeks by performing another ultrasound later this month. Q: When should surgery be the only option to remove the cysts? And if these measures are taken, once again, what advantages/disadvantages can this cause me & especially my PREGNANCY? Thank you in advance for your time & sharing with me any wealth of knowledge you may have regarding this topic. |
