Hello Dr. DJ & Co:

Time goes by too fast, but at least with great
results. It was wonderful to see everyone, and this time it was even better than 3 1/2 months ago, when I wasn’t allowed to drive.
Who says surgery can’t be fun? Well, almost…
Really, I am so happy, doctor DJ, you have found
almost no adhesions and the endo is practically
gone. I did, and of course will follow your regimen for nutritional supplements because I know
it works. Within just a few days I even managed to see Santa Monica pier and some parts of Beverly Hills and West LA. The next day after my arriving back home I was at work (i.e. today) and I wanted to let everyone know I’m fine and ready to really enjoy the finest LA has to offer – but this time it will be VACATION!!!
All the best,
Michaela

Dear Mica:Well I had my surgery on Aug.9th and got home to Colorado on the 19th. It has been almost 1 month and I am feeling so much better.I had 40 fibroids,a cervical cyst, ovarian cyst on right side ,an abdominal hernia, and some endometriosis.Remember I thought I only had 6 fibroids.Surprise to me! The best thing was I had No Pain from this! And I was awake and saw everything! It truly was an experience! I went to the mall after 4 days to help walk out the gas. That was my pain! I am so glad that is over!Smile.I would have talked to you sooner but my computer has beed down. Thanks for all the encouragement and I hope that if anyone out there that reads this has any questions to which I can help, please write and I will answer. I will go back in December for follow-up. How was your gas after yours? Let me know. Thanks again, LaVieta

Dear LaVieta:

Well, well, well … Now you know this is for real.. And how is Colorado weather?? Going for walks in “my” park for hours on end made my life a wonderful experience, the surgery results only enhanced it. The gas was there for 4-5 days, but it slowly dissipated and the muscles began their normal function. I didn’t feel any pain either, in fact my bottle is still full from my first – and second times – no need to take anything. People reading this might think this is too good to be true, AND IT IS GREAT! I vowed I’ll help whoever needs support in this journey – now you can see for yourself why!! Make sure you do rest, because your body is still “manufacturing” new tissue, and this requires energy. Just take it easy, and when you feel energetic, just go with it. Great to hear from you. If you feel like posting elsewhere, in addition to this BB don’t be shy, women need information anywhere in the world. Keep me posted of your progress. Warm regards,

Mica

Dear LaVieta:

Just returned from my 5 1/2 month check-up after FAS, which also coincides with my annual pap. My local obgyn, specialist in high-risk cases told me everything was found normal in size, and “moving around”, meaning unattached to adhesions. So, as he said it, I’m fixed! He’ll be checking me in 6 months. He’s also a great physician, taking obstetrics cases nobody else wants. Just another toast to Dr. DJ! Enjoy your newfound freedom.
