Could the nausea be related to the fibroid?

I am 38..I have two fibroids, one subserosal 5cm, and 1 pedunculated 4.6cm. Apparently they have grown 1 cm in the past year. I had a submucosal fibroid removed 2 years ago. I also have a cyst on the left ovary… my dr. has, of course determined that a hysterctomy is the way to go, which I refuse to do…especially after reviewing your website. My question is… I don’t really have any symptoms, except some fatigue, nausea, and some bloating/pressure… could the nausea be related to the fibroid? and in what kind of time frame would you recommend these being removed, (considering I have no severe symptoms)?

Dear Sue-
Nausea is not a common symptom associated with fibroids, but bloating, pressure and fatigue are. We dont recommend women postpone surgery with fibroid tumors..the disease spreads with every menstrual cycles and changes in estrogen levels. We would recommend you have them removed asap.
