Varicose Veins on my Uterus

I have varicose veins on either side of my uterus, and my doctor tells me that the only way to fix the problem is to remove the uterus. He says that I can wait as long as I want to, but it is interfering with my life. He says that the varicose veins are causing my uterus to be soft and it is hitting my bladder, causing me to dribble on myself. I also have to wear a pad when I work out because it runs down my leg. Sex is also almost out of the question. What do you think? I cannot find any information about other people having this problem.

Dear Dodi-
Most likely, your “dribbling” and sexual pain are not related to a varicose vein problem. However, they may be responsible for a soft uterus. We have seen patients with varicose vein issues before, and we have saved their uterus but tied off the veins producing the symptoms.
